First off, the Nike Lunarglide 5 is a great looking Nike Dunk Sky Hi Femmes shoe. It¡¯s one of those rare shoes that I¡¯ll wear simply because I like the way it looks. My pair are in gray and bright orange, and the combo works really well. The upper consists of two layers of fabric separated by flywire bands that extend from the sole to the eyelets on each side (the orange strings that can be seen in the images here). The outer layer is a stretchy, open mesh, the inner layer is a more tightly woven fabric. The inner layer is stitched to the tongue on each side and has very few seams. It fits like a snug sock, and feels great against bare skin. At the back of the shoe there is a firm plastic cradle that wraps around the heel to provide support ¨C I have not experienced any irritation from this. The ankle collar is well padded and lined by a soft material. Overall, I¡¯m really impressed by the upper design and construction.

Nike Free 5.0 2015 sole heelThe Nike Free 5.0 2015 is lightweight, flexible, and incredibly comfortable. If your sole reason for wanting them is for casual use, go out and get a pair right now, they are that good. For running, they aren¡¯t fast and they aren¡¯t super cushioned so not the best choice for an all-around trainer. But for short to moderate length runs where you want a very flexible, minimally controlling ride with some cushion they are a solid option. And if, like me, you couldn¡¯t wear the 2014 version due to that tight band over the forefoot, rest assured that the problem has now been fixed. The Nike Free 5.0 is available for purchase at Running Warehouse US, Running Warehouse EU, and Zappos. You can also customize a pair in whichever color combo you could imagine via Nike ID. Sales made through these links help to support this site ¨C thanks!Writing that opening line is a big deal for me because the original Nike Free 3.0 remains one of my favorite shoes of all time. That shoe was lightweight, ultra-flexible, ran silent, and had a sock-like upper that was about as near perfection as a minimal shoe upper can get. My only complaint about the 3.0 v1 was that it was a bit narrow. The new 4.0 Flyknit matches the original 3.0 on all of the positives, and improves on it by having a much wider toebox. It¡¯s an amazingly good shoe.

Nike Free 3.0 ¨C 1st Generation

The only area where I have a bit of a problem is with the medial forefoot ¨C I¡¯d prefer a more solid base in this area as I tend to pronate a lot and the forefoot of the Frees can tend to bend/cave a bit in this are due to the siping close to the medial margin (the most medial sipe often fills with grit/gravel during my runs). One result of this for me is that I sometimes get a hot spot along the inner ball of my foot behind the big toe when running in Frees, and the 5.0+ is no different in this regard.

I found the Kiger hard to place regarding the ride. On one hand it does feel somewhat responsive and quick and on the other I felt it was somewhat soft compared to what I¡¯m used to. Shaving the heel off did help the stability of the ride in the heel on uneven ground. I¡¯d also say the softness is less noticeable on very hard pack trails, and is almost welcome on pavement. I guess this reaction is probably due to my experience with and bias towards firm and responsive shoes.

Nike Free Run+ Review One oddity about this shoe is that it has a curved Nike Roshe Run France Pas Cher last and an offset lacing system, which makes it look like the shoe bends medially when viewed from above (see photo to the left). My sense is that this is more a function of the lacing system altering appearance than anything structural, but it makes for a bit of an odd look from above.Although not an appearance element, it¡¯s worth noting for those who might be interested that these shoes do accommodate a Nike+ sensor under the insole. I have long since abandoned the Nike+ system due to it¡¯s inaccuracy Nike Air Max 90 EM Femme , so I have not used the sensor in these shoes.
